Mr. Shelton joined Beatty & Wozniak in September, 2011 and represents oil and gas exploration and production companies in various oil and gas land title and transactional issues. The primary focus of his practice is in the preparation of acquisition, drilling, supplemental and division order title opinions covering fee, state, federal and tribal lands in North Dakota, Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, Montana and Oklahoma. Mr. Shelton also assists the transactional group at Beatty & Wozniak, in the preparation and review of mineral deeds, oil and gas leases, assignments, farmout and exploration agreements, joint operating agreements, pooling agreements, surface-use agreements, affidavits of all types, easement and right-of-way agreements and ratifications. Mr. Shelton has already proven to be a tremendous asset to the Beatty & Wozniak team professionally, and socially, having recently won the 2nd Annual Beatty & Wozniak Chili Cook-Off.
Prior to joining Beatty & Wozniak, Mr. Shelton was a solo-practitioner in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where his oil and gas practice included title examination and due diligence review. |
