Coleman joined Beatty & Wozniak, P.C. in November 2011 and is concentrating his practice on representing clients in general oil and gas
litigations.
Coleman received his BA and JD from the University of Notre Dame. Coleman is admitted to practice law in the State of Colorado, State of New York and U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
Prior to joining the firm, Coleman spent more than five years as a litigation associate at a large, international law firm in New York City working on
complex civil litigation matters. During that time, Coleman gained experience in the financial markets aspect of the oil and gas industry, which
included:

Assisted in the successful representation of an international brokerage house in a FINRA arbitration concerning failed Venezuelan oil warrant trades with one of the world’s largest
financial institutions.

Assisted in the representation of a commodities brokerage house in parallel investigation proceedings conducted by the CFTC, SEC, FBI, NY District Attorney’s Office, and U.S. Attorney’s Office concerning alleged manipulation of international oil markets.
