Gary Ewing is a seasoned real estate attorney who wrote title curative requirements for billions of dollars in surface transactions. Prior to joining Beatty & Wozniak, his career emphasized work for title companies, real estate lenders, and real estate departments of large corporations.
His law school studies emphasized natural resource law. He did not like viewing the Rocky Mountain energy boom from the sidelines. In early 2008, he decided it was time to apply his extensive title background to the needs of the oil and gas industry, and joined Beatty & Wozniak.
His favorite job, at least prior to Beatty & Wozniak, was as an in-house attorney with a “dot-com”, where he helped develop an online mortgage origination and real estate referral system that was purchased by LendingTree.com. Despite the current downturn, he is convinced the energy industry presents more exciting and sustainable opportunities than the “dot.com” world.
In his free time, he enjoys hiking, writing, independent films and studying Spanish. |
