Justin Rammell joined the firm in 2008. He graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Law with honors in 2007. During law school, he worked for the Nebraska Attorney General as a senior certified law clerk in the Water, Environmental and Agricultural Division. Since law school, he has focused on natural resources, including mineral title.
Justin enjoys the challenges of practicing energy law. He says, "Energy law is a lot like fly fishing, you cannot expect to have a cursory knowledge of the practice and perform well, you have to understand the system, the details, and everything in between." He is excited to be part of our Salt Lake City office.
Justin is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Landmen, the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation, and the Denver Association of Oil and Gas Title Attorneys, of which he is also the federal reporter. He is an update author for both the American Law of Mining 2d and the Law of Federal Oil and Gas Leasing. He is licensed in Utah, Wyoming, Colorado and Nebraska.
Justin is married and the father of two young children. His free time is spent changing diapers, fly fishing, woodworking and reading.
