Kyle cut his teeth in the oil and gas fields and courthouses of east and south Texas while in his 20's before cashing that invaluable experience in for a legal career representing both international and independent exploration and production companies. His practice focuses on counseling drilling activities and rendering drilling and division order title opinions for fee, federal and Indian lands throughout the Rocky Mountain West.
Kyle is licensed to practice law in Colorado, Montana, Texas and Wyoming. He played intercollegiate baseball for Galveston College and Centenary College of Louisiana before earning his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. From there, Kyle graduated from St. Mary's University School of Law where he earned the Pro Bono Achievement Award for his work as a student attorney representing underprivileged members of the San Antonio community.
He is a proud graduate of the inaugural 2012 class of the Energy Generation Leadership Program ("EnGen") administered by the Colorado Oil and Gas Association and is a peer mentor to the 2013 EnGen class.
Beyond work, Kyle is a tutor for an after school program at the Dora Moore School in central Denver and enjoys herding his two dogs, surviving CrossFit workouts and managing the firm's Denver energy industry league flag football team.
