Matt Hartford joined the Wyoming office of Beatty, Wozniak & Reese as an associate attorney in 2009.
Prior to joining the firm, Matt interned for the late Senator Craig Thomas and served as his advance team coordinator during his 2006 Senatorial Campaign. Matt has been around the oil and gas industry his whole life. Growing up in Rocks Springs and Powell, Wyoming, Matt spent most of his school breaks working in the fields of Southwest Wyoming, as a production roustabout, and learning about the industry and the processes by which our nation meets its energy needs.
Matt received his JD from the University of Wyoming, School of Law and is licensed to practice law in Wyoming in both the federal and state courts. While in law school, he sat as a Senator and served as Chairman of the Legal Services Committee for the Associated Students of the University of Wyoming, was Dean of his the legal fraternity Delta Theta Phi, represented clients, in court as a student intern of the University of Wyoming Legal Services Clinic, and interned at the law offices of Brown, Drew, & Massey in Casper, Wyoming. Matt is a member of the Petroleum Association of Wyoming.
Matt lives in Casper, and enjoys golfing, hunting, and other various outdoor activities. |
