Melissa Schindler joined Beatty & Wozniak as an associate attorney in December of 2011. Melissa is part of the firm’s title group, with a primary focus on the preparation of title opinions covering federal, state, and fee lands. Prior to joining Beatty & Wozniak, Melissa worked as a field landman in Texas, Louisiana, and Pennsylvania. Her experience in curative title work, due diligence, acquisitions and the compilation of hundreds of abstracts is/has proven invaluable to her current practice.
Melissa graduated cum laude from Stephen F. Austin State University with a double major in Communications and Criminal Justice, before attending the South Texas College of Law in Houston. During law school, Melissa was a member of the Negotiations Team, was an intern at the United Nations’ International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, The Hague, Netherlands, and attended classes at Leiden University.
Melissa lives in Denver and outside of work, enjoys cooking, listening to live music and watching football and rugby, family, and her dog Stitch.
