Ruth Moore joined Beatty & Wozniak at the beginning of 2008, bringing more than six years of litigation experience to the firm. Ruth represents and advises energy clients in litigation and regulatory matters.
Before relocating to Denver, she was an associate at O’Melveny & Myers LLP and Spillane Shaeffer Aronoff Bandlow LLP in Los Angeles. Ruth’s prior experience comprised a variety of complex business litigation matters, including intellectual property, contract, consumer fraud, class action, environmental damage, products liability, First Amendment, and appellate litigation.
Ruth earned her J.D. from Columbia University, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and served as articles editor of the Columbia Business Law Review. While in law school, Ruth also was a law clerk at California’s Riverside County District Attorney’s Office and an extern to Magistrate Judge Theodore Katz in the Southern District of New York.
Ruth is admitted to practice in California and Colorado and before the United States Supreme Court, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and Central and Eastern Districts of California.
In her free time, Ruth enjoys hiking, skiing, and reading nonfiction.
