Tony received his J.D. from Washburn University School of Law in 2006, graduating with Dean’s Honors, the first graduate to earn certificates in both natural resources law and advocacy. While attending law school, Tony was responsible for planning and implementing four sessions of oral arguments before panels of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and the Kansas Court of Appeals. He also earned the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation’s Spring 2006 Scholarship, given to law students who show academic merit and a commitment to practicing natural resources law.
Following law school graduation, Tony worked in Kansas as a petroleum landman, learning upstream issues. In May of 2007, he moved to Utah, bringing with him his background in oil and gas law and his “boots-on-the-ground” experience.
Tony is a member of the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation and the Utah Association of Professional Landmen. He is admitted to practice law in the state and federal courts of Kansas and Utah.
