2019 “Top Women in Energy”

Beatty & Wozniak Shareholder Deana Allen has been named a 2019 “Top Women in Energy” honoree by the Denver Business Journal.  Top Women in Energy recognizes women whose position, knowledge or expertise helps guide the sector.  This is the sixth year the Denver Business Journal has honored women in the energy industry.  Deana was honored at an award ceremony on April 23, 2019.

Deana’s practice is devoted exclusively to the oil and gas industry and encompasses the areas of title review and rendering of related opinions, due diligence, leases, joint operating agreements, farmouts, and development agreements.  In addition, she represents clients in the areas of acquisition and divestiture and represents borrowers and lenders in finance transactions secured by oil and gas assets consisting of undeveloped acreage and producing properties.

Along with her involvement in industry groups, Deana is also active in philanthropy and the community.  She is passionate about issues facing the special needs community and is currently Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for a non-profit organization employing over 300 people providing services to special needs kids and their families.  She has also been actively involved in fundraising efforts for the arts and, most recently, established a non-profit organization that provides clean drinking water solutions to the people of Nepal and Ecuador.
