OVERVIEW

 

Craig Berube has specialized in real property and mineral title ownership issues, regulatory and legal compliance, service contracts, joint operations, transaction due diligence and energy production issues since 1993. During this time, Craig has pursued an expansive and involved practice of law that includes experience in the private practice of law, as in-house legal and regulatory counsel, and has served the public in a variety of roles within local, state and federal government. Having served in all of these capacities, Craig has an understanding of the wide variety of legal issues that are faced by the energy industry. Craig works on a daily basis to inform his clients, provide them with a clear understanding of the law, and find solutions that protect their interests.

Over the years, Craig has opined on legal and ownership issues, and he has researched and written hundreds of title opinions, pertaining to fee, state and federal lands. Craig has given presentations and written articles on many upstream issues, including ownership, pooling and unitization issues, and agreements pertaining to joint operations, farmout agreements, exploration and development, to organizations that include the Colorado Bar Association and the Denver Association of Petroleum Landmen. Craig’s twenty years of experience is a testament to his diligence, knowledge and dedication to the energy industry.
