OVERVIEW

 

Gary has been with Beatty & Wozniak since early 2008.   He concentrates primarily on the preparation of oil and gas title opinions.  Other areas of concentration include due diligence, finance and regulatory matters.

 

His experience prior to Beatty & Wozniak includes real estate loan origination and closing, real estate compliance, title insurance, the administration and sale of real estate assets, and litigation arising from real estate transactions.

 

SELECT EXPERIENCE
  • Prepared drilling, division order, and acquisition title opinions covering state, federal and fee lands in Colorado, Wyoming and North Dakota. 

  • Wrote title insurance commitments and policies covering billions of dollars in commercial real estate.  

  • In-house attorney with HomeSpace.com, which at one time was the fastest-growing mortgage company in America.  Helped develop an online mortgage origination and real estate referral system that was sold to LendingTree.com.

  • Prior to attending law school, worked as a county searcher for a title insurance company, where he conducted traditional “stand-up” title searches in county courthouses.
