OVERVIEW

 

Stephanie recently passed the bar exam and became an Associate at Beatty & Wozniak, P.C. Prior to that, she worked as a paralegal at the firm’s Wyoming office. Stephanie was born and raised in Wyoming and has 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, from working as a Registered Professional Landman to working as an account manager with drilling service companies. She attended law school at the University of Denver in the evening while working full-time as an Account Manager of a major service company.

In her free time, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs. She also enjoys cooking, gardening and hiking.

  • Prepared applications and exhibits for numerous matters in front of the Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission.

  • Secured bonding for a major acquisition including multiple large federal units.

  • Negotiated farm-out agreements, oil and gas leases, right-of-way and surface use agreements.

  • Performed due diligence for major acquisitions including fee and state minerals, federal units, producing wells/properties and an operated major federal pipeline right-of-way.

  • Evaluated working interest and net revenue interest for planned wells prior to drilling to determine priority and feasibility.

  • Researched and traced mineral title and leasehold for fee, state, and federal minerals.
