Jack Sheffield is an Associate in Beatty & Wozniak’s Transactional & Corporate practice group, supporting clients in commercial transactions and corporate work. Based out of the firm’s Denver office, Jack focuses on helping energy companies structure, negotiate, and execute deals that align with their long-term goals.

Jack first joined the firm as a Summer Associate in 2024. He returned full-time in 2025 after earning his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where he earned a certificate in Corporate & Commercial Law. At DU, Jack served as both Articles Editor and Business Editor for the Denver Journal of International Law & Policy, was treasurer of the Business Law Society, and earned multiple Scholastic Excellence Awards.

During law school, Jack worked as a law clerk at a boutique firm focused on private offerings under Regulation D of the Securities Act of 1933, where he developed a strong foundation in securities and transactional law.

Originally from the Milwaukee area, Jack earned his B.A. in Political Science and International Studies from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Outside the office, he enjoys traveling, golfing, and loyally supporting Wisconsin sports teams.
