Deana A. Allen

Deana Allen specializes in title, transactional, and corporate matters in the oil and gas industry for Beatty & Wozniak. Licensed in Texas, Colorado, and North Dakota, Deana guides clients through the complex world of acquisitions, divestitures, financing, and property issues across multiple jurisdictions.

Prior to joining the firm, Deana served as Associate General Counsel for a subsidiary of a Fortune 250 energy company, where she advised on finance transactions, regulatory compliance, and strategic business operations. Altogether, she has over two decades of industry experience.

Deana’s contributions to the energy sector have earned her recognition as one of the Top Women in Energy by the Denver Business Journal. She is also a frequent speaker and author on legal and business issues affecting the energy industry, regularly presenting at industry conferences and CLE programs.

Deana holds both a J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law and an M.B.A. from the University of Kansas Business School. Outside the office, she remains actively involved with numerous professional organizations.
