Biography

Bob Hoehn joined Beatty & Wozniak, P.C. in May 2013 and is currently a member of the firm's Land, Siting & Title Practice Group. Mr. Hoehn has over 40 years of experience in oil and gas law, including acquisitions and other transactional matters, real property and mineral title examinations, title curative work, transaction due diligence, and administrative matters involving the Bureau of Land Management, Mineral Management Services, and the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission. In addition, his practice also focuses on general corporate law, including business organization and operations issues and contract negotiation and drafting.

Prior to joining Beatty & Wozniak, Mr. Hoehn was a partner in the Denver office of Rothgerber Johnson & Lyons LLP, (now Lewis Roca). Before that, Mr. Hoehn was a partner in the Denver law firm of Clanahan Tanner Downing & Knowlton, P.C. and was the managing partner in the Englewood law firm of Corporon Hoehn Svitavsky Eyler & Hill, P.C. He has in-depth experience in land title examination in the Rocky Mountain region, and was formerly employed as a landman by an independent oil and gas lease brokerage, as well as a title examiner for a Kansas title insurance company.

Mr. Hoehn has been a frequent speaker on title and oil and gas issues and has written and presented a number of papers, including a practical guide on how to prepare an abstract for landmen and curing title issues related to defunct business entities.
