Nicol is a Shareholder at Beatty & Wozniak. She joined the Casper, Wyoming office in 2013 and has been in private practice in Casper for nearly 20 years.

Nicol is a Wyoming native and was raised in the energy industry has focused her law career on energy law. She has extensive experience representing various stakeholders in the oil, gas and mineral industry, including mineral production companies, service companies, private mineral owners, private landowners and governmental entities. This breadth of experience gives her a unique perspective when advising companies regarding operations in Wyoming. Nicol's work involves areas of regulatory, transactional, administrative law, and litigation. Nicol regularly appears before the Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission and has a wide variety of experience including surface use agreements and disputes, contracts, severance and ad valorem taxation, royalties, environmental regulatory permitting and compliance, title curative, land use law and water law. Nicol also practices in the area of estate planning and adminstration, including trusts. Between undergraduate and law school, Nicol worked as a financial auditor in the Denver, Colorado office of Ernst & Young, LLP.

In her free time, Nicol likes to spend time with her husband and two daughters. They enjoy outdoor activities including biathlon, skiing, biking and running.
