Salary: The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $85,000. The actual salary will depend on the candidate’s skills, training, experience, and other job-related factors, and may fall above or below this range in accordance with applicable law.

About the role
This role supports attorneys in our transactional, corporate, and regulatory practice groups. The position requires strong organizational skills, careful attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
Transactional and Corporate Support
Prepare, organize, and coordinate documents for financing transactions
Draft and maintain closing checklists and transactional or recording indices
Prepare and maintain closing books for financing matters
Draft and maintain corporate, legal, and governance documents, including entity formations, annual reports, and corporate minute books
Maintain a docketing calendar for corporate filing deadlines
Search for and file documents with various state secretaries of state
Electronically record real property documents through Simplifile
Regulatory and Commission Support
Draft notice filings for state oil and gas commissions
File documents with regulatory agencies, county clerks, and courts
Maintain spreadsheets tracking dockets, case statuses, and key deadlines
Prepare Affidavits of Mailing
Compile and organize exhibits for regulatory matters
Assist with hearing preparation tasks as needed
Maintain case calendars for administrative matters
Prepare and manage certified mailings and monitor associated deadlines
Administrative and General Support
Organize and submit expense reimbursements
Prepare FedEx shipments and other outgoing mail
Request conflict checks and open new matters in the firm’s system
Coordinate travel arrangements, including transportation and lodging
Provide general clerical support such as proofreading, preparing envelopes, data entry, scanning, and copying
Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications
Strong proofreading skills and careful attention to detail
Solid experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe
Clear and effective written and verbal communication
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks with limited supervision
Ability to work collaboratively and build positive working relationships
Experience with the WOGCC, ECMC (formerly COGCC), NDIC, and NMOCD is helpful
Willingness to adapt and learn new skills
Consistent in-office attendance is required
