Malinda joined Beatty & Wozniak, P.C. in October of 2013 and focuses her practice primarily on oil and gas litigation. Malinda also represents clients on matters related to natural resources development on public lands, and advises oil and gas clients on routine matters. She has experience in environmental litigation as well as large-scale electronic discovery.
Prior to joining Beatty & Wozniak, P.C., Malinda worked in the New York office of an international law firm, where she litigated on behalf of an industry joint defense group as well as a leading petroleum company in a complex, multi-district environmental litigation. She also worked as a Law Clerk with the Staff Attorneys’ office at the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and as a Summer Associate in Intellectual Property at a firm in her hometown of Des Moines, Iowa.
As an undergraduate, Malinda co-authored several academic papers on venomous snake locomotion and venom injection. When she is not working, she can be found running or volunteering at a local race.
