Nicole is a Shareholder at Beatty & Wozniak, P.C. Nicole helps her clients find creative and practical solutions to complex environmental and regulatory problems. She has over 15 years of experience specializing in environmental, health, and safety law as they apply to oil and gas operations, business transactions, real estate development, and other commercial operations.

Nicole's experience includes:

  • Compliance assistance and defense of alleged violations of state and federal laws including RCRA, CERLCA, the Clean Water Act, the Occupational Safety and Health Act; and the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Act.
  • State and federal permitting;
  • Pipelines and hazardous materials transportation;
  • Responding to regulatory information requests;
  • Spill reporting and response;
  • Threatened and endangered species;
  • Environmental due diligence;
  • Regulatory compliance audits;
  • Remediation;
  • Brownfields; and
  • Underground storage tanks.
Earlier in her career, Nicole was a prosecutor for the Colorado Attorney General's Office where she enforced environmental laws. She also gained substantial litigation experience working as an in-house attorney for a large insurance company. In her free time, Nicole enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
